This is a hands-on 'real' team building activity requiring real teamwork plus inter-team collaboration, negotiation and competition, which will have everyone in your team totally absorbed. Now including the "Water Works" Charity component.
If you want an activity to build your team, an event that has potential for leadership development, and an event which is all inclusive, hands-on and not naff, then read on...
Your team doesn’t need to be engineers or even overly practical – what they will need is to be is effective at planning, communicating, organising and leading.
The Pipeline event will be totally tailored to your business/team after consultation with you. This includes branding, how the event is briefed and how it is debriefed.
Examples of parallels or analogies back to your workplace could include:
- The competing but connected teams can be likened to departments, branches or work teams
- The ‘client’ requesting the pipeline to be built can be likened to external or internal customers
- The groups within the activity can be likened to a company’s supply chain – from sales through to delivery etc.
Water Works Charity Component
We think the ability for our clients to 'give back' from their events is a win-win for all. Within the Pipeline event, your team will end-up donating water filtration units to villages in Africa that will increase the health and well-being of entire communities. What's more, you will see exactly where in the world 'your system' is in use via a GPS tracking unit. Wow!

Tailoring Pipeline to Your Team
Pipeline is very 'tailorable' to your company, your desired outcomes, and your team. There are a few varying formats of this event. The format we run is based on discussions with you combined with our own experience. The length of the event can be changed. You can even have the event run over different 'sessions' (i.e. throughout a day conference). We can also run this event 'bespoke' (i.e. where only your brand is visible). Contact us to discuss these options.
We have run well over 3,000 team building events!! We know this event works and we guarantee that 100%.
(This video features ex-All Black, dancing star and all-round great bloke Norm Hewitt - we absolutely recommend Norm as a facilitator, mentor, motivator or speaker for teamwork. You can contact Norm directly at n.hewitt at xtra dot co dot nz)

“In terms of a true ‘team building’ exercise that isn’t ‘naff’ or overly contrived, I am yet to come across much better than the Pipeline activity. Whilst tapping into most key elements of teamwork, it also has many direct analogies back to a workplace – especially where there are departmental or regional ‘silos’ all working towards a common goal. Combine this with competition and a good dose of fun and it makes for an excellent and cost effective team building activity.” Chris Gulley, MD Elevate (20 years team building facilitation) ¦ More Testimonials »
